Ethically sourced. Meticulously crafted.
Every weft Alma sells passes through our hands before it passes into yours. We pay above market for first-cut hair, refuse the chemicals that strip cuticle, and reject anything that doesn't meet our alignment test.
Four non-negotiables on every shipment.
Single-donor only
Every weft is cut from one donor and stays grouped through the manufacturing line. Cuticles aligned in one direction means no tangling, no friction, no premature shedding.
Above-market pay at the source
We pay 30–40% above the going rate for first-cut hair. It's the only way to keep donors choosing us — and the only way to refuse the cheap, acid-stripped alternative.
No acid baths. Ever.
Acid stripping is the industry shortcut for forcing mismatched cuticles into the same direction. It destroys the hair within months. We refuse it. Our process keeps the cuticle intact end-to-end.
Hand-inspected before it ships
Every pack is opened and visually inspected at our Florida warehouse before it's boxed for you. If a single weft doesn't pass, the whole pack goes back.
We visit every supplier. In person. Twice a year.
No middlemen, no factories we've never set foot in. We fly to our supplier partners twice annually — to inspect the hair coming in, audit conditions, and renew our agreements directly. The wefts that ship to your bench were made by people we've shaken hands with.
A weft that lasts a yearis a weft that wasn’t wasted.
Mass-market extensions are designed to be replaced every 8 weeks. Ours are designed to be reused for up to a year. That's roughly 6× less hair landing in landfills per client — and roughly 6× more margin staying in your chair.
