Tape Weft Hair Extensions for Stylists | InvisiTape Injected System
Tape weft hair extensions are the fastest install in professional hair extensions — 30-60 minutes per row, 4-week wear cycle, no beads or threads required. Alma's InvisiTape is the injected tape weft system stylists are switching to from Bellami, Babe, and Hotheads.
What Is a Tape Weft?
A tape weft is a thin strip of hair (1.5" wide) bonded to a medical-grade adhesive backing. The stylist sandwiches the client's natural hair between two tape wefts, creating an invisible bond that lasts 4-8 weeks before retape.
InvisiTape vs Standard Tape Wefts
Standard tape wefts are sewn — hair is machine-stitched onto a fabric weft, then the weft is glued to the tape backing. The result is a 0.8mm thick weft that telegraphs through fine hair. InvisiTape is injected — hair strands are bonded directly into the polyurethane base, eliminating the sewn-weft layer. 0.4mm thick. Invisible against fine hair.
Install Method
Standard tape-in protocol: section, sandwich, press for 5 seconds, repeat. No special equipment beyond tape-in remover and replacement tape tabs. Read the full install walkthrough.
